Spiky Woofs began with a little Bichon Frise named Spiky.
Spiky was part of my life for 16 years. He passed away in 2026, but the years I spent caring for him shaped the way I think about dogs, their needs, and the responsibility that comes with sharing a life with them.
This site is named for him.

Why Spiky
Spiky was a Bichon Frise with a big personality packed into a small dog.
Like every dog, he had his own habits, preferences, quirks, and needs. Living with him for so many years was a reminder that good dog care is rarely about following one perfect set of rules. It is about paying attention, learning, adapting, and understanding the individual dog in front of you.
Naming this site Spiky Woofs is my way of keeping that connection at the heart of the project.
